cheap cell phone plans

I have a missing cellphone and I need to disable the IMEI on it so phone becomes useless…. my provider does not want to disable it…. anybody has any idea???

So, I am moving to Florida (from Canada) this week and have been able to transfer my current cell phone contract to one of my brothers. What do you think would be a good cell phone deal for me here in the States. I was thinking of getting just a land phone for the apartment but really need a cell phone as I will not be spending much time in the apartment. I would be mostly making calls to Canada (at night and on weekends when I am off work). Anybody have any ideas? Any help would be most appreciated. There are so many to choose from, it is difficult to know what is the best.

I need a cell phone plan and i heard that bell and telus have good plans, but i think that they are gonna start charging for received texts and i plan on texting alot. rogers looks good, but i can find a plan for my price range. i would like texting(125/month), and still be able to go on windows live messaging. thats all i really want. could i take a pay and go phone and add the 15$ bundle? it has unlimited internet but does that count as im’s too? or is that like $0.05/instant message? thanks so much. im soo confused by all this.

I have three year contract with roger wireless. but I don`t want the cell phone any more? Is there anyway I can cancled it? Will there be a panalty to cancle? How much?
