I have a missing cellphone and I need to disable the IMEI on it so phone becomes useless…. my provider does not want to disable it…. anybody has any idea???

thats really the only way to go. The provider needs to blacklist the phone so it’ll throw up a flag when someone tries to activate it on another GSM network.
