cheap cell phone plans

I’m currently on my parents’ cell phone plan, but I’m going to get my own pretty soon. I rarely ever talk on the phone, and I don’t need text messaging. I don’t really want a plan where you pay for more minutes (you know, the cards). What’s the cheapest plan out there?

im 16 and my parents are being a-holes. they say to get my own. so i was just wondering wat is the best cell phone plan and the cheapest?? and wats up with cingulars pay as you go thing … you can have unlimited nights and weekends?? how does that work??

I’m getting a new phone, cause it dropped in the toilet. Anyways, what’s the best phone to you guys and why.
And can you tell me if you like it, but it’s expensive, how I can convince my parents?
