Most cell carriers have a website where you can check their plans and pick the cheapest one if you’d like.

I’d recommend tmobile they offer excellent plans with really good customer service. Coverage depends on where you live. You can go to and get exact street coverage information on your home and the places you will frequently be traveling to.

Or for $39.99 for the “get more”

    That gives you:

    Weekend minutes - Unlimited
    Weeknight minutes - Unlimited
    myFaves minutes - N/A
Mobile to mobile minutes - None

It all depends on what providers are available in your area, where you’re going to use your phone, how much you’re going to use the phone, the coverage you want and if you want a monthly plan or prepaid. Many companies offer a plan around $30, some more and some less. If it’s your first phone, you might want to look at a prepaid service, where you only pay for the minutes that you use. It is more expensive per minute over monthly plans, but if you’re not going to use it much, it may be cheaper for you than paying for a monthly plan. Ask your friends who they use and what company they think works the best. Check out the websites of the carriers in your area… most have their rate plans available on them. You also may be able to share minutes with someone else for as little as $9.99 per month.
